99 percent pure aluminum? The high-technological electronics industry go for two or even three nines after the period: for aluminium of very high purity. Here is why they need it.

High-purity aluminium is not just as pure as it gets, it is also high-speed: it moves electrical current even faster. That speeds up electronic semiconductors and devices from computers to smartphones.

Tailored high-end aluminium

The high-end aluminum is produced with fractional crystallization, finally casting the ready-to-use liquid metal to various shapes, tailored to the customer’s request.

As pure as it gets. The liquid aluminium in this shot is 99.999 per cent pure - and will make its way from our High Purity unit in Grevenbroich to the high-tech industry. Eventually, it will end up in an electronic device, such as your next computer or smartphone 1 likes

Did you think your hair was thin? The thinnest aluminium we produce is actually 1/10 strand of a hair. The aluminium in such rolled coils is completely impermeable, and lets neither light, aroma nor taste substances in or out – perfect on the inside of juice or milk cartons.
