We are excited about being able to present our fans with one of the world’s first full-scale concerts in virtual reality. We have tested the result, and the feeling of standing on stage with ourselves was quite surreal. This technology will allow people to share a live music experience in new and innovative ways. Hope you enjoy the show! – a-ha
We are leading on technology: Hydro has an industry-leading position in technology and innovation, and we think it’s great fun to contribute to creating premium content in the virtual reality world. Pictured on the right is an illustration of the Karmøy Technology Pilot – our full-scale pilot aiming to verify the world’s most climate and energy efficient production of primary aluminium.
We make things that last: a-ha’s timeless hits can be listened to over and over again… while aluminum can be infinitely recycled and given new life over and over again.
We use nature’s own power source: Hydro’s goal is to ‘eternalize’ aluminium. We use eternally renewable hydropower from Norwegian nature to create eternally renewable aluminium.
We are infinitely renewable: Magne Furholmen’s art installation in infinitely renewable aluminum, which is waiting to be recycled at our aluminium recycling plant in Norway.
We want to make the world a better place: Morten Harket lending a hand to our reforestation efforts in Brazil. Hydro’s climate strategy is the most ambitious in our global industry. Our goal is to be carbon neutral by 2020.
